On September 15, MSQ DC held its first Cholo (Gang) “Drop-In” Burito Breakfast in Las Misiones. Not only was there music and soccer, but these youths were willing to cross gang lines to join in.
Our second event was held a week later, and again, there was breakfast, music and soccer. 25 youths joined us. We are thankful to a young pastor named Neri who joined in to serve along side us. Neri is a wonderful addition who is able to relate very well to these young men. Please pray for Neri as he responds to God’s leading.
Our goal with these weekly Burrito Breakfasts is to form connections with the youths who join us.
